Quinta Mazatlan World Birding Center

The Quinta Mazatlan Residency was designed to share with others my meditation painting practice while exploring the grounds of Quinta Mazatlan and noticing how it changed over the course of a year. When I put together my proposal, I was in a state of transition and needing the restorative effects of connecting to nature through art. Assuming others might also have this need, I offered painting sessions where visitors to the park could join me using different materials to respond to the wildlife around us.
