These bodies of work emerge from an ongoing relationship with the landscapes of South Texas and beyond. Rooted in practices of observation, meditation painting, and ecological inquiry, the series explore the interconnected relationships between place, memory, perception, and the more-than-human world.

Working both on location and in the studio, I use painting as a form of listening and conversation with the environments I inhabit. The works move between direct field response and larger studio explorations, tracing experiences of attention, movement, ecology, and belonging across diverse landscapes and evolving ways of seeing.
